What you'll do Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences while maximizing sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while adhering to food safety guidelines. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining atmosphere. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures, menu items, and customer service excellence. Foster a welcoming environment by building rapport with guests and providing personalized service. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations to ensure guest safety. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
