This position ensures guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service while creating a welcoming dining experience that reflects the hotel's service standards and brand expectations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system Deliver food and beverages efficiently and ensure presentation standards are met Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to requests or concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, server stations, and beverage stations Assist with breakfast buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown as needed Process guest payments accurately and handle cash/credit card transactions responsibly Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times Assist with side work and opening/closing duties assigned by management Qualifications Previous restaurant or hotel serving experience preferred Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays Food Handler and/or TABC certification preferred or required based on local regulations Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry trays throughout the shift Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment Schedule Primarily morning shifts Weekends and holidays required based on business needs Benefits Competitive hourly wage plus tips Employee hotel discounts Opportunities for growth and advancement Paid training Additional benefits based on hotel policy and eligibility Our Culture At Crowne Plaza San Antonio Airport, we are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to every guest.
