Tulum will be features modern Mexican cuisine, chef driven with an emphasis on great food, cocktails and fun costal environment. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and ensuring that all food and beverage needs are met. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems or OpenTable. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Prepare tables for dining by sanitizing surfaces, setting utensils, and arranging decorations as needed. Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts. Follow all food handling and sanitation guidelines to ensure safety and compliance. Skills Proficient in using POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings, is preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Capable of performing food preparation tasks as needed during peak hours.
