Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Manage table settings, clear dishes, bussing tables efficiently, and assist with food handling and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing excellent guest relations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health regulations. Support guest needs proactively, addressing questions about menu items or special requests with enthusiasm. Assist with host/hostess duties when needed to ensure smooth seating flow during busy hours. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations required for safe service. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations. Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not mandatory. Must possess excellent communication skills, be energetic, friendly, reliable, and committed to hospitality excellence.
