In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling cash transactions and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Process cash and credit transactions using the cash register or POS system. Handle cash with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math skills. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Requirements Previous experience in food service or as a cashier is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with serving customers.
