Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge, and a lively personality. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items including wines, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management, ensuring prompt service for all guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and give correct change or receipts. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options to elevate the dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle any concerns professionally, and promote guest relations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Proven time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques.
