The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual setting. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha or Micros Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems such as OpenTable Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and reset for new guests Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations Support team members during busy periods, including host/host duties or bussing tables Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations gracefully Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is a plus Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences while developing your skills within the vibrant food industry.
