Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments with attention to detail. Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities are essential. Previous host/hostess or serving experience in a fast-paced environment will set you apart.
