Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and manage guest relations effectively Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards in dining areas Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments securely using POS terminals like OpenTable or similar platforms Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly between serving, bussing, and assisting colleagues Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate bill calculation Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for better understanding of menu items and timing Familiarity with reservation platforms like OpenTable and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience unforgettable!
