Duties Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha and Micros Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation procedures Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure guest satisfaction Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; experience in casual dining is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha, Toast or Micros is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays as needed This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry to grow their skills while delivering memorable dining experiences.
