Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials, leveraging your knowledge of the menu and customer preferences Manage tables effectively by coordinating with kitchen staff for timely food preparation and delivery Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities, while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge to better assist guest inquiries and support kitchen staff when needed Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in serving or host/hostess roles that demonstrate guest relations expertise Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
