The Food Runner/Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by preparing tables for service, including bussing tables and resetting them as needed. Ensure that all food safety and handling standards are followed during service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and address any special requests from guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items are ready for service. Operate the POS system (Aloha POS preferred) for order tracking and communication with the kitchen. Support banquet services as required, ensuring that all events run smoothly. Help bussing and clean tables Setting up tables Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Must be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages safely.
