Job Description

Riphean Hospitality, an expanding restaurant group located in Downtown Fredericksburg, is motivated by a sincere love for history, culture, and community. Our core belief lies in the profound influence of hospitality, shaping experiences, fostering bonds, and promoting positivity. We have multiple restaurants downtown and are looking for energetic Servers to be part of our team. We have opportunities available at Rebellion Bourbon Bar and Kitchen (309 Williams Street), Castiglia's Italian Restaurant ( 324 William Street ), Sky Bar ( 324 William Street ) and The Port Oysteria & Brewery ( 106 George Street ) . All restaurants are located in Downtown Fredericksburg.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of various alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes and menu items Excellent sales skills to upsell and promote food and drink specials Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure proper handling of beverages and garnishes Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests Experience using a POS system for order processing and payment transactions Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming environment for customers Ability to work in fast-paced environments and with others
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience working as a Server in a full service restaurant Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service. Excellent verbal and written skills Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure is a must Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to lift 20-pound boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Flexible to work a variety of shifts - Friday, Saturday, Sunday is a must.
