Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using Toast POS systems. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Proficiency in using systems such as Toast POS. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed by the restaurant's schedule.
