Professional Development Role Purpose:
The purpose of a server at Uptown Alley is to provide excellent customer service and ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Financial Responsibilities Upselling and Revenue Generation Payment Processing Table Turnover and Seating Optimization Operational Responsibilities Compliance and Safety Problem Resolution Menu Knowledge Customer Service Responsibilities Customer Satisfaction Education & Qualifications:
Certifications in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or Safe Food Handling High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment
Experience:
Servers should have prior experience working as servers in a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, including customer service techniques, order taking, and table service Desirable
  • Previous experience in a high volume restaurant
