Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Experience with POS systems, along with a background in fine dining or food service environments, is highly preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively hospitality setting where professionalism and guest satisfaction are paramount. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders and entering tickets using POS systems Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process credit payments through POS systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items Uphold high standards of guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Support overall restaurant operations during busy periods, including food handling, sanitation, and guest engagement Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling transactions Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend and holiday shifts may be required Food industry knowledge including food preparation, serving etiquette, and guest services Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences in a vibrant hospitality environment where your skills in food service, customer relations, and sales will shine.
