Serve food promptly and ensure presentation meets quality standards while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Maintain food safety standards by practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in all areas of service. Assist with food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold a welcoming environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables while providing attentive customer service. Support the team with basic retail math for sales tracking and inventory checks when required. Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly under pressure. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential! Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
