Part-time Server

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that patrons have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or other point-of-sale systems. Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices. Ensure that all tables are clean, properly set, and sanitized before and after each guest's visit. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments through the POS system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively answer guest inquiries. Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in a server role within a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems such as Aloha or OpenTable is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding hospitality. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
