In this multifaceted role, you'll be the friendly face welcoming guests, efficiently handling transactions at the cash register, and ensuring food is delivered promptly and accurately. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service from the moment they walk in Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, maintaining flow during busy hours and accommodating special requests Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly Handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts with precision, ensuring all payments are correctly processed Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key! Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Previous experience in hospitality or guest services roles enhances your ability to excel in this position Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices helps create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
