Job Description
Job Overview Join our team at Socky's Bar & Grill. We are locally owned and operated with a large regular following in the Red Mill/Pungo/Foxfire neighborhoods. We offer a variety on our menu including burgers, wraps, pizza, and wings. Socky's is a classic sports bar that shows every game and we strive to give exceptional service to all guests. We are looking for a server that brings a positive attitude, bubbly personality and strong work ethic to work with us. We are looking for the right fit and hope that together we can grow and learn. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Learn the menu including food and beverage options Be knowledgeable on all specials and happy hour prices Complete opening and closing duties to include but not limited to rolling silverware, sweeping/mopping, restocking, and cleaning work stations Work alongside fellow team members and always be respectful Arrive on time to all shifts and give notice of any schedule changes Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with server responsibilities Previous host/hostess or food industry roles that involve guest relations and hospitality are advantageous Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards Please apply if this seems like a good fit.
