Food Runner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by providing timely support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Support banquet services as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met during events. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in bussing, cooking, or kitchen operations is a plus. A background in hospitality or guest services will be beneficial for this role. Must demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences through effective teamwork and communication.
