Bistro Server-Mornings Courtyard Marriott Middlebury Overview Our Bistro team is seeking servers to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience serving guests in a casual dining setting and will have retail experience. An employee at this level should have a friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills, including the ability to take direction as well as give it, while remaining professional and courteous with all customers. Responsibilities Daytime Shift (Early Mornings) Be able to work in a fast-paced environment Create a positive and friendly environment for guests and co-workers Be able to work quickly and efficiently Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain food safety standards Greet customers efficiently and with a smile Knowledge of menus and food items Have knowledge of drink preparation Prepare Starbucks coffee orders quickly and accurately Prepare food orders efficiently and to customer specifications

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in hospitality or as a dietary aide can enhance your candidacy for this role.
