Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic, guest-focused dining experience! In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied. Whether working in a fine dining setting or a vibrant nightlife venue, your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and grow within the food service industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and drink options with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and support sanitation protocols to ensure food safety standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and food preparation when needed in a busy environment. Support host/hostess duties during peak hours by managing reservations and seating arrangements. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with food industry tools like serving trays, bussing stations, and basic kitchen equipment is advantageous. Effective communication skills for working seamlessly with team members and guests alike. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing calculations, and inventory management. Hospitality background with experience in nightclubs or high-volume venues is desirable but not required.
