The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Experience with food service, POS systems, and hospitality standards is essential. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your customer service skills while working in a vibrant setting that values teamwork and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction. Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously. Requirements Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality preferred; experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for billing and cash handling accurately. Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales performance. Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, hosting/host duties, and food preparation is advantageous. Professional appearance and positive attitude; ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
