Overview Join our vibrant team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders with precision, and ensures every visit is memorable. Whether you're sharing wine knowledge, recommending dishes, or expertly handling POS systems, your contribution will elevate our restaurant's reputation for outstanding service. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where hospitality meets passion, and every shift is an opportunity to make a positive impact. Bartending experience is a huge plus! Some bar opportunities with us as well! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or Toast POS. Upsell menu items including wines cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings and spirits to enrich guest experiences Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs Ability to upsell effectively by highlighting menu features like cocktails, wine selections, or specialty dishes Culinary experience or food industry background preferred to better understand menu items and preparation standards Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with fine dining service or hospitality environments is a plus Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing Cocktail experience to craft beverages confidently and educate guests on drink options Join us in creating memorable dining moments!
