Front of House Team Members (Host / Cashier / Food Runner / Busser)
Position SummaryAs a Front of House Team Member, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, processing orders and payments, delivering food, maintaining dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.
ResponsibilitiesHost DutiesWelcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Manage waitlists and seating arrangements.
Answer phone calls and assist with reservations.
Provide accurate wait times and guest information.
Cashier DutiesProcess guest orders and payments accurately.
Handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions.
Answer menu questions and assist with takeout orders.
Maintain an organized and clean cashier station.
Food Runner DutiesDeliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
Verify orders before serving guests.
Communicate with kitchen staff regarding guest requests.
Assist servers during busy periods.
Busser DutiesClear and reset tables efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations.
Refill condiments, utensils, and supplies as needed.
Support servers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
QualificationsExcellent customer service and communication skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
