Job Description
This position is a very Part-Time/On-call position. This is a good way to supplement your income or just to have a little extra sometimes. Hours are very sporadic and seasonal driven. Summer/Fall and the Holidays are our bussiest times of the year. Duties Set up dining areas with appropriate tableware, linens, and decorations to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing catering stations to support culinary staff. Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals, maintaining cleanliness and order in dining spaces. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional guest relations and addressing any special requests or dietary needs. Monitor food quality during service, ensuring freshness and presentation meet high standards. Follow all food handling and safety procedures diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support event setup and breakdown, including arranging buffet lines or serving stations as needed. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods or large events. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times, representing the hospitality brand with pride. Qualifications Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly preferred; culinary experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest services with strong communication skills. Experience working at banquets, restaurants, hotels, or catering events is desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to serve efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Basic food preparation skills such as plating or garnishing are advantageous. Familiarity with bussing tables and supporting food service operations enhances your candidacy.
