Dietary Aide/Server

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the nutritional needs of our patients and residents, ensuring that meals are prepared and served in accordance with dietary guidelines. Duties Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas. Help with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and labeling food supplies. Support the dietary team in planning menus that cater to the diverse needs of patients or residents Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with patients, residents, and staff. Maintain accurate records of meal services and assist with special dietary requests as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food handling or food preparation is preferred, especially within a hospital or assisted living environment. Knowledge of dietary guidelines and nutrition principles is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. A background in culinary arts or dietetics is beneficial but not required. Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
