Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing at the end of each shift. Assist in food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food handling and sanitation protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously. Support food delivery from kitchen to table while ensuring quick service in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables or customers efficiently without compromising quality. Assist with basic retail math for sales transactions and inventory checks when needed. Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience. Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience with cashiering, cash handling, and basic math enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for supporting food prep tasks. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued. Previous work in quick service & fast-food restaurants or cafes demonstrates your ability to thrive in high-energy settings.
