You'll be the heart of our restaurant, engaging with customers and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. What you'll do Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to efficiently process orders and manage transactions. Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices and upselling where appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining high food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent guest relations. Assist with hosting duties as needed, welcoming guests and managing reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms. Engage in continuous learning about culinary trends and restaurant offerings to enhance guest experiences. Basic qualifications 5 years of previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Preferred qualifications Experience with fine dining service or nightclub environments is a plus. Familiarity with food handling practices and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge to better understand menu items and preparations.
