Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge, give rmendations from ourpilation of cuisine, and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to obtain local food handlers and alcohol serving permits prior to being placed on the work schedule.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbalmunication skills (for menu presentation, promotions, engaging with guests, and interacting with colleagues, etc).
- Confidence in knowledge of menu and beverage (alcohol, beer and wine) offerings.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the role (as it relates to service, pre and post shift work, cash handling).
- Ability to foster a positive working relationship with departmental and support role colleagues to enhance teamwork.
- Minimum of one-year previous F&B serving experience in either fine dining to family style dining.
- Knowledge of POS and reservations systems.
- Available to work all shifts.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight (35-50 pounds)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
