In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide menu recommendations to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, payment processing, and receipt issuance Prepare and serve food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and kitchen assistance when needed Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cash, credit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell menu items to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction by suggesting popular or complementary options Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and food prep stations through regular bussing and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café as required, ensuring quick service times in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting Requirements Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred; restaurant experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts using retail math principles Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning duties as needed Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
