Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This energetic position involves supporting the front-of-house service team by ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, delivering food efficiently from the kitchen to guests, and maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster guest satisfaction and smooth restaurant operations. Duties Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Assist servers with food running duties, supporting timely service during busy periods Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining cleanliness standards Support food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and organizing supplies Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, or food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently Knowledge of banquet service, kitchen operations, or hotel hospitality can be advantageous Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests A background in culinary arts or hospitality demonstrates a commitment to guest services and food safety standards Prior experience in customer service roles helps build the foundation for delivering memorable guest experiences This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry while contributing to a lively, guest-focused environment.
