Resturant Server

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or similar systems. Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest experience. Ensure all tables are properly sanitized and maintained throughout the dining service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal service. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including culinary ingredients and preparation methods, particularly in fine dining settings. Skills Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments, is preferred. Proficiency with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about new menu items and trends in the industry.
