Part-Time Pub Server/Cook

Overview Earn $18-22/hour as a Part-Time Pub Server/Cook at the only Ashley Pub in the entire corporation! Located inside our Arcadia Home Store, this dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to cook, serve, and create great experiences for both local customers and Ashley team members from around the world. This European-inspired pub combines the energy of a fast-paced kitchen with friendly customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to deliver excellent service in a unique environment. We'll provide training on our menu and systems—what matters most is your attitude, reliability, and customer focus.

Compensation & Schedule Pay:

$18-22/hour (base wage + gratuity)•Base wage negotiable based on experience

Hours:

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week

Schedule:

Shifts typically 9 AM•4:30

PM Availability:

Must work at least 1 weekend per month

Days:

May include evenings and weekends (pub open to public 10 AM•4 PM) Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take food and beverage orders accurately, including alcoholic drinks Prepare and cook fast-casual pub menu items with attention to quality and presentation Serve food and beverages efficiently with 7-10 minute ticket times Handle food safely, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to food safety standards Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately Manage to-go orders and call-ahead corporate orders Maintain organized workstations in both dining and kitchen areas Restock supplies throughout shift and prepare for service Collaborate with small team to ensure smooth operations during rushes Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with state regulations

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent Bartender's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Reliable transportation to Arcadia, WI Strong customer service skills and positive attitude Ability to work in fast-paced environment with sense of urgency Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred (but we'll train!): Restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience Knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen equipment Cash handling experience Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-5 hour shifts) Lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs Work comfortably in kitchen environment with heat and sharp objects Multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Why Work at Ashley?
