Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders. Assist in organizing and expediting food from the kitchen to tables efficiently during busy service periods. Communicate clearly with culinary team regarding special requests, dietary restrictions, or order modifications. Support food safety protocols by handling dishes carefully and maintaining cleanliness in the expediting station. Monitor order flow, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple tables to optimize service speed. Collaborate with servers to ensure guest satisfaction by providing accurate timing and presentation of meals. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of dining operations. Familiarity with kitchen processes including food preparation, plating, and food handling safety standards. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for managing large or complex orders. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices essential for this role. Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service is essential.
