Stocking Leadership Full Job Description Lead Server/Front of House Lead Ono Kenosha:
Full-Time & Part-Time Compensation:
$5•7+ an hour not including daily tips as Server which can range from $75•200+ for the day (tips may vary daily)
Role:
As Lead Server/Front of House Lead, you will be the anchor of our dinning room. You will ensure the FOH is impeccably clean, guide serving staff, and act as the primary resource for both team members and guests. You will also communicate all FOH needs to the owner and manager. Your main goal is to anticipate needs and maintain a smooth, efficient flow of business from open to close. This is not an easy job but if you are up for the challenge and rewards you should join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain flow of service, monitor the dining room during service, anticipate bottlenecks, and coordinate with FOH and Kitchen to ensure a seamless guest experience. FOH cleanliness & organization, Take ownership of the dining area's appearance. Ensure tables, server stations, and host areas are kept clean, fully stocked, and in order at all times. Expert Communicator, Act as the go-to person for guest questions regarding the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods. Team Leadership, support the serving and hosting staff during peak hours. Answer staff questions, assist with side work, and help resolve any minor guest issues quickly and professionally. Operational duties, assist with opening and closing procedures, handle order entry, and process payments efficiently (experience with Toast POS is a plus)
Requirements:
Proven experience as a server preferably with previous leadership or training experience. No experience necessary paid training is available. Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities' A keen eye for detail and high standards for cleanliness Ability to remain calm during high work flow situations Familiarity with Japanese/Asian foods is a plus, also experience with Toast POS Reliable transportation Kenosha Bartenders License would be great but we pay for training and license requiements
