Server 192 Main Street, Menasha, WI 54952 $20.61 - $24.83 an hour - Part-time $20.61 - $24.83 an hour - Part-time Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic Roost team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Must have 1 to 3 years experience. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including specials and recommendations, to enhance the guest experience. Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order preparation. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with care. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in upscale casual environments. Familiarity with Toast POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and food handling standards is beneficial.
