Third Space Brewing is an award-winning production craft brewery located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are a growing brewery with a passion for creating high-quality craft beer and a fun and welcoming "third space" for our customers (you have your home, you have your work, but everyone needs a third space). We have a tap room and beer garden on site in our 11,000 square foot brewing facility in the historic Menomonee River Valley, a summer beer garden in Elm Grove, and will soon be opening a restaurant, with a brewery and taproom in Menomonee Falls. Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, motivated and customer service focused individual to join our team as a runner/busser at our new restaurant & taproom in Menomonee Falls, Third Space Innovation Brewhouse. This position will start in June and operates year-round. This is a part-time position that will require nights, weekends and some holidays. Qualifications 16+ years old Experience in service industry (preferred) Experience with customer service (preferred) Availability for nights, weekends and some holidays Key Competencies Outstanding customer service skills Some knowledge of POS systems (handheld ordering system) Familiarity with the Third Space brand and willingness to learn about craft beer and the craft beer industry Friendly attitude and composure in high stress & fast paced situations A team player that thrives in a team environment Essential Job Functions Welcome guests into the space with a friendly greeting Always treat customers and your co-workers in a kind and respectful manner Assisting servers in serving customers efficiently Clearing tables and resetting for new customers Be an expert on Third Space beers and Brewhouse menu Maintain a clean and safe environment for co-workers and customers Required to lift up and change 55-lb kegs and required to move kegs 165lbs Ability to interface with POS software (handheld ordering system) Non-Essential Job Functions Perform running/bussing duties at Third Space Brewing's Innovation Keep a clean and organized work environment Stock inventory and merchandise as needed (including shirts, glasses, to-go beer, and growlers) Organizing/filing essential paperwork Accurate record keeping Assisting with large in-house events as well as general large reservations Job Conditions Restaurant & Brewery environment Indoor space with additional outdoor patio seating Required to be on your feet for 5-9 hours per shift Occasionally work both inside and outside Standard bar & restaurants conditions (i.e. wet floors, cold storage, etc)
