In this energetic role, you will engage with guests, provide attentive service, and ensure every visit is memorable. This position offers an exciting opportunity for you to grow and have fun! We have a great staff and we work as a team, we don't split tips most days only certain days for special functions. Most days in summer our waitstaff makes $250-$400 in tips each. We have great customers and with the remodel of our kitchen we will be serving more food this season! Responsibilities Greet guests how you would like to be treated be engaged and inviting Work on the POS system with accuracy Be able to describe our drink specials & recommend them, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Interact with the customers so they feel at home! Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations You have your own bank so handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper math skills Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally Time management during service and especially during the busy times Upsell to increase sales Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in host/hostess roles or serving positions that involve guest relations and hospitality skills Basic math proficiency for cash handling, billing accuracy, and POS operations Join us in creating memorable dining moments through energetic service, genuine hospitality, and culinary expertise!
