Job Overview The Silver Lake Country Inn in West Bend would like to add you to our team. Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic, hospitality-driven environment! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly service in a lively setting. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your role is vital in maintaining high standards of food service, guest relations, and operational efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant atmosphere. 2 weeks off over Christmas/New Year and 2 weeks off over 4th of July. Free meal / drinks each shift. Great tips! Duties Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience, increasing sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting them for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with sanitation regulations Experience Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction processing Experience in serving will be highly valued, but willing to train the right person.
