Bartending/Server

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team at our sports bar and grill. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks and food and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking drink and food orders and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces and stocking bar items. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and other supplies; assist with restocking as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a bar setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and beverage trends is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing is advantageous. Excellent math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
