Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Waiter/Waitress/Front Staff member, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes patrons, takes orders with precision, and ensures every guest feels valued and satisfied. Candidates should be willing to learn and become familiar with the menu, as this is an Indian restaurant offering a variety of dishes with customizable spice levels and preparation styles. Understanding these variations is essential to accurately take orders and provide efficient, high-quality service.
Job description:
To serve meals to patrons according to established rules of etiquette. Presents menu to guests, provides food and beverage suggestions, and answers questions regarding food preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are expected to be; knowledgeable on the menu, be able to guide customers on ordering, and making suggestions. Take accurate food and beverage orders Relays orders to kitchen and serves food to guests Monitors tables in assigned section ensuring all patrons are served. Clears and cleans tables; resets counters and tables. Computes bill and accepts payment; tracks sales receipts. Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing. Maintains wait station by keeping area tidy and stocks glasses, silverware, and other related supplies. You have to be able to lift 20-30 pounds.

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Assist with food packaging(to-go orders), bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth operations Engage with guests to foster positive relations, handle inquiries promptly Requirements ServSafe certification required upon hire Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining preferred Knowledge of POS platforms; familiarity with taking orders Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the food industry Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional service!
