JOB SUMMARY
: The Server/Waitstaff provides exceptional dining experiences by welcoming guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and delivering attentive, timely service. This role ensures guests feel well cared for in an upscale dining environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and knowledge of the menu.
DUTIES:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about food, beverages, and wine pairings.
- Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and proper service steps.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and anticipate needs.
- Clear and reset tables following restaurant standards.
- Handle payments accurately and process transactions securely.
- Work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hospitality guidelines.
PREREQUI SITES / EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior serving experience preferred
