Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and offer expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery of food and beverages Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive atmosphere Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency Experience Previous restaurant experience in a food service environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for order processing and sales tracking Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail Experience with serving in hospitality environments that require upselling, cash handling, and basic math skills Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility within the food industry Embark on a lively career path where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special!
