Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met. Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas. Serve food and beverages efficiently during banquets and events, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, including arranging tables, linens, and utensils. Provide friendly guest service by answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest comfort. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to maintain hygiene standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of events from setup through cleanup. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper sanitation procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with serving and kitchen support. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork. Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus; familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous. A positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to assisting team members and guests alike. Basic understanding of food service operations, including bussing, serving, and food preparation tasks.
