Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular items, and upsell to enhance the guest experience. Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster guest relations. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Server in a food service or restaurant setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Maitre'd for order entry and payment processing. Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while multitasking between serving tables and assisting team members. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques. Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or busser is a plus.
