The Host or Hostess is the first person who greets our customer, and they are the last person to thank them for choosing Eggs Up Grill before they walk out our door. Some duties include answering the phone, taking to-go orders, assisting customers with picking up to-go orders, maintaining a wait list, ensuring tables are ready prior to seating guests, constantly monitoring dining activity, inspecting menus for cleanliness and assisting servers when necessary.. The ideal candidate has a warm, friendly and personable demeanor. They are team players, effective communicators and keep their composure when working with all guests. Highly organized, a good Host or Hostess understands the flows of traffic and has exceptional time management and customer service skills.
