Host ("H") Old Route 69 Brewery, LLC - Ada, OH 45810 Summary of Position Reporting to the Shift Manager ("SM"), the H is responsible for greeting guests and seating them at tables. Primary Position-Specific Duties and Responsibilities Primary position-specific responsibilities of the B include, but are not limited to, the following: Carry Out Orders. Gathers guests orders and verifies them for accuracy. Ensures guests have all the utensils and condiments necessary for their experience. Customer Service. Provides excellent customer service to all guests, with the goal of engaging in conversations, creating regulars, and maximizing the customer experience. Walks guests to their table and delivers menus and any other appropriate materials needed for the experience. Responsible Alcohol Service. Adheres to the responsible alcohol service operational procedures implemented by the Company. Restaurant and Brewery Knowledge. Communicates answers to frequently asked questions including hours of operation, menu offerings, and directions. Answer phones, accommodates requests, and documents messages intended for SM or President ("P"). Workplace Cleanliness. Follows all sanitary practices for general cleanliness and maintenance of facility. Ensures that a clean and organized environment is presented at all times in the indoor and outdoor dining areas and restrooms. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job entails prolonged periods of standing and interacting with customers. There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, and produce items. Must be at least 18 years old to handle alcoholic beverages and 21 years old to pour alcoholic beverages. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, carry, push and lift objects between 25-50 pounds. Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift objects greater than 75 pounds. Education and Experience The below education and experience requirements are necessary for the position. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience 1+ years of experience working in food and beverage. 1+ years of experience completing mixology, barkeeping, or other related training. ServSafe Certification, or the agreement to obtain the certification.
