As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will ensure that every patron feels welcomed and valued. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant services, and special requests. Utilize the Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and guest management. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a restaurant setting. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
